When he turns twelve I’m teaching my son to copy edit.
I KNOW I neglected all of the writing I usually do while I was with the grandbabes! It made me have to change my thought patterns in ways similar to this. Thanks for posting!

I will be sure to recommend this post to all of my writer friends with kids. Great tips, thanks for sharing your experiences. I have two little ones (2.5yrs and 7mos) and I agree that it is detrimental to a writer to elbow some time out to write, but equally detrimental to your success to have time with your spouse!
