Even if it doesn’t make a mint, at least people will be reading it, possibly telling their friends about it, and generally enjoying the read…at least that is my wish.
My biggest thrill is when someone reads something I wrote and then has to talk to me about it because it reached down into their heart and pulled a little. Hopefully, if I have done my job, that will happen.

Roger Colby is an English teacher by trade, making the lives of teens in his class difficult and yet rewarding even if they cannot see the use for the important skills he is teaching them (for the most part).
