New Podcast Up: R Rated Rant

Podcast Logo NewThis episode is devoted to our lament over the fact that Marvel has gone down the rated “R” road with Deadpool, which we feel is really un-necessary. Marvel will now make a slew of these kinds of films, and even though they will probably be pretty successful, we really don’t want the term “fanboy” to be associated with those kinds of films. Sure they have their market, but we really felt we had to take a stand on that as family men. We also discuss what is causing this in the culture and what (as a writer) you can do to not jump on the bandwagon. In other words, you won’t be invalid if you don’t choose to do R rated material. We hope that we make our case for why we are not seeing Deadpool, and if you don’t like that opinion, then that’s ok. We just don’t want to see it.

You can find the rant here.
