I’m Baaaack!

I haven’t blogged for a long time as I spent a long time away.  Boy do I have a lot to talk about on here.

I went away from WordPress for a while to pursue upscaling my website to a Squarespace account.  I did that for a year, only to realize that the $140 a year to keep the site going and the unfortunately expensive nature of promoting that site became too much of a financial burden.

I also changed jobs (day job), moved residences, and went through probably two of the most trying personal trials of my life in these past 18 months.

I’m on here again to get encouragement, to encourage others, and to hopefully get back on the horse (as it were) to write.  I have some really great ideas but it will take me some effort to get going again.  I know I’ve said in times past that the only thing that will get your novel/screenplay written is bum glue and fingers moving, but sometimes the motivation just isn’t there.

I want to be honest about the process, and that honesty leads me to confess that I’m not the most motivated to write anything anymore.  I will have to force myself into that writing seat and force myself to throw down the first few words.  I know that if I get started in a routine of writing that I might just get going on it.

I hope this blog post finds you well, and I hope that you will continue to follow me on this journey.  I’ll update as much as I can, write about the trials I have experienced, and possibly get some sanity back in my life.

Things ARE going well, and I’m more blessed than I can say, but I really have that desire to write something.  I’ll get on that right now.
